Update (May 26, 2016)

Really sorry for not posting the past few months! I was in a drawing mood so all I did then was draw, draw and draw lol. I promise to post new stuff soon! ;A;

In the meantime I would like to reiterate that no one is allowed to use, modify, crop, reprint in any form, repost or redistribute my art that I've posted on my tumblr, pixiv, twitter, instagram. I do not grant permission to repost my art. Due to a recent reposting incident I have now deleted almost all of my anime-related artworks from my deviantart.

Also I was inspired by Hinano-san to blog about my thoughts and feelings with regards to shoujo manga and otome games so I will start writing about them soon as well! ^_^

Art Theft

I've posted this on my tumblr but I'll post it here again. So upsetting that this has to be my first major post of the year. :/

Today I got curious about how people try to find their art/photos that get re-uploaded without credit and randomly went to do a search without expecting anything. But to my utter shock and dismay I found my art of Akura-ou on this website feed thingy (it's not Facebook).

As you can see my watermark is right there (when I watermark my art they usually go by “Akina”, “Shirayuucchi” or “Juaki”). And it was posted way back in May last year without my knowledge, and even worse, with no credit whatsoever. I’ll be honest here. I’ve never believed my art would get taken because it isn’t at all the best in my opinion but apparently this isn’t so.

I don’t know Russian so I can’t understand what the comment is saying and neither do I care what it says because I’m just plain upset right now. (Edit: I used Google translate for the website and I understand what was written now but I honestly don’t care what people think of my works plus that’s not the real problem here) Even if I don’t think my works are up to standard, I put in a lot of effort in what I do and like any other artist, I don’t like it one bit when my works are being used in such a way.

I’m aware that so many works are being stolen on a daily basis but now that I’ve finally fallen victim to this widespread practice, I can fully understand how unbearable it feels when your stuff gets stolen. Even though it may not be as bad as having my art being claimed by another, it’s still art theft, people!

And this is a very, very well-known nagging reminder but some people just turn a blind eye to it. It’s not that they don’t/can’t understand, they just REFUSE to. Social media has developed ways to appreciate people's works in the form of likes/shares/reblogs/retweets so there is no excuse whatsoever when it comes to the issue of re-uploading others' works.

✔ Shares (Facebook)/Reblogs (Tumblr)/ Retweets (Twitter): You SHARE the work from its ORIGINAL SOURCE.

✘ Re-upload: You SAVE the original work and UPLOAD it on your own site, usually without any credit or permission.

The comment according to Google translate is critiquing the art. I’m very appreciative of people’s comments and critiques on my works because I want to improve and work harder for my future art. But this doesn’t make me happy at all. In fact it makes me even more upset. Because it was written on a website where my work got re-uploaded instead of on my accounts where I originally posted them. And this isn’t okay at all.

I went to the site's Terms page and this was stated so if I understand my English well, I believe this also means not to re-upload works without permission.

I just did another round of checks because I was feeling uneasy since last night. I found out the same art got uploaded more than twice on the same website, but by different people. Along with all those other stolen works. =__=

This person even used my art in a fanfic of some sort!

Happy New Year 2016

It's still January 1st of 2016 in my country so I'd like to take this opportunity to wish everyone a very happy new year!! The past year had been a blast, though it wasn't at all a smooth ride...but I made it out well in the end.

Thank you so much to everyone who was a part of my 2015, making up a part of my experiences, the things I learnt, etc. There're a lot of things I want to do in 2016 and I really hope I can accomplish them all!

GameStart Asia 2015

Second post for November! ＼＼\\٩( 'ω' )و //／／ Today's post will be on GameStart Asia 2015 which I attended on November 15th, Sunday. And yes this post is written like a day before I head down to AFASG. ☆*:.｡. o(≧▽≦)o .｡.:*☆

I didn't know this gaming convention existed until I saw its page recommendation on Facebook, and I went to look it up. It apparently started last year and this year is the second time it's held in Singapore. I enjoy playing video games but I'm not into many of the games people are crazy about nowadays lol. I used to play tons of PC video games a few years ago but then after I bought a Macbook and spent more time online, I slowly stopped playing video games. XD But since I've gotten my self a game console, I'm baaacccckkkk (ﾉ◕ヮ◕)ﾉ*:･ﾟ✧

STGCC 2015

Rejet New Titles (2nd half of 2015)

Hello! This time I'm back with new Rejet titles to share. Yes I know it's really late... Rejet announced the new titles early last month but I wasn't online much then and I didn't realise they had made announcements and also the fact that I'm a lazy person so yeah TTvTT

As usual, since I'm such a busy and lazy girl, I haven't listened much to any of Rejet's CDs orz. However I've recently started playing the Diabolik Lovers: Haunted Dark Bridal game uhuhu and I must say so far it's been.....interesting..... definitely not your typical otome game lol OvO And yes I'm still playing Touken Ranbu pfftt

Anyway without further ado, let's move on!

Funan Anime Matsuri 2015

Hello, it's me again~ June this year is just full of anime events and that means I'm going to be broke this month (like I'm not already broke in the first place) _(:3 」∠)_

Yesterday I went to Funan Anime Matsuri 2015 (8-14 June) held at Funan Digitalife Mall. I wanted to go earlier in the week but I was busy... But I managed to make some time to attend it ;v; I was mainly attracted to the promotion - Touken Ranbu official merchandise on discount! LOL *shot*

Gundam Docks at Singapore

Hello~ It's been a while! My last post was dated March and now it's already June. Time really flies! :o

Some updates, I graduated from my polytechnic on May 18th, and I'm currently in sword hell aka Touken Ranbu lol XD

And today I went to the Gundam Docks exhibition in Singapore. The exhibition runs from 4 to 28 June at Ngee Ann City, with the merchandise available at the B2 level.

I'm not a hardcore Gundam fan but I appreciate mecha and their designs. Here are some photos from the exhibition!

Costest: Nine (Zankyou no Terror)

Hehe so I finally did a costest after so long! I used the new products I bought yesterday and I'm glad to say that I'm satisfied with them. The only thing was that I didn't expect the tip of the gel liner to break off so easily LOL so I ended up having to line my eye using the leftover stump XDD
The Essence BB Cream is pretty good, but my only complaint is that it's kind of stinky (.-.) I still prefer Silkygirl's Magic BB Cream, plus it has a pleasant fragrance X3

I'm costesting Nine from Zankyou no Terror by the way. I'm still not good with the eyeliner so the only thing I'm not satisfied with for this costest are the eyes...cursing the unsteady hand and bad vision (ToT) But I'm really happy that I managed to pull off a guyish makeup! I do think I look quite ikemen LOLOL *slapped*

New cosplay makeup supplies~

As a personal rule, I don't wear makeup (with the exception of BB Cream because heck everybody loves them too). But because I do cosplay, I have to put it on XD So I went shopping for more makeup supplies for cosplay today~ I'll be sharing on the products I bought in this post :3

This is not a product review by the way, because I haven't tried any of them on yet.

Watched Naruto The Last~

I finally got to watch Naruto The Last movie today, and since today's the last day it will be airing in my country, I feel really lucky to be able to catch it on the big screen!! :D

I literally got goosebumps when the original Naruto theme played near the beginning of the movie aaaahhhh I realise I really do love this series after all (even though I never managed to catch up with much of Shippuden www) _(:з｣∠)_

The movie is good, and I just had to bring home with me all the lovely NaruHina feels (TvT) ❤

Rejet New Titles 2015/2016

Ehehehe once again this post is long overdue! XD
But I want to post about it anyway, mostly for my own reference~
It's also the opportunity for me to finally, FINALLY watch all these PVs :'D

A few weeks back (I can't remember exactly when because I was too busy with schoolwork when I saw the announcement on Twitter >.<) Rejet updated us with new titles for this year!

As with the previous year, I was busy doing my work (this time it was a bloody report ugh) when Rejet spammed my Twitter timeline with updates. 酷いな…(Ｔ▽Ｔ)

HOWEVER.... I myself am severely not updated when it comes to listening to Rejet's CDs due to the fact that there are so many of them, I can't keep up welp hello it's like hundreds of CDs vs only one of me... (´ｰ`* ))))
I have no idea where I stopped at for Diabolik Lovers (possibly the first volume of Dark Fate orz), and as for the other Rejet CDs, the last thing I remember listening to was Vanquish Brothers Masamune ;;;;;;

AFA 2014 (6 & 7 December 2014)

Hehe this post is pretty late but well, I really want to share how fun the event was! I'll combine both days into one post. (TvT)

I attended AFA 2014 on Day 2 and Day 3 last year. I was stuck in school on Friday so I couldn't go orz. They also announced the attendees for the Lantis Matsuri that will be held on March 28th. I was in class when the announcement was made at the event and after that I couldn't concentrate for the rest of the class LOLOL

Miyuki Kazuya (Daiya no Ace) 1/9 scale figure previews!

Hello! It's been a while XD And I've come with good news!! I'm officially done with school and that means now I'm free to do what I want, whenever I want!! XDD

So when I woke up today and logged in to Twitter, the next few minutes came the announcement from Apricot Blossom (an otome figure company). They released the official previews of the Miyuki Kazuya (from Daiya no Ace) scale figure!!

Happy New Year 2015!!

I'm like three days late LOL orz....

Many eventful things have happened over the past year, both the good and bad. Nevertheless, both have taught me many valuable, important lessons.

I also met many people, made new friends and most importantly, I was given the opportunity to learn about and understand myself as a person. I hope I was able to grow and develop myself into a better person, even for just a little.

Thank you so much to everyone who has been a part of my journey through 2014, and I hope we can continue on together this year and so on.

And while the rest of us celebrate this new year with joy and happiness, let us not forget about those who are grieving. I hope with time and patience, 2015 will heal the pain they hold in their hearts.

My sincere prayers goes out to the victims and their families of Sewol, MH370, MH17, AH5017, GE222, QZ8501, and all the other major disasters that occurred in 2014.

And to everyone else, here's to a blessed, joyous, successful year ahead!
And may 2015 bring more anime, sports anime, seiyuu, otome games, drama CDs, etc etc etc to fangirl, spazz and cry over XD

I really can't be bothered coming up with New Year Resolutions because I'm too lazy and I'm the type who can't keep up with all the stuff I wanna do. But I'm gonna list down some stuff that I really, truly hope I can do this year ;A;

- Read more
- Write more
- Draw more anime stuff and sell 'em as keychains and badges or somethin' y'know and then earn some money....
- Take more photos
- Get a DSLR
- Travel overseas
- Help out at animal homes like cats homes, or birds
- Go to KBox/Karaoke lounge
- Cosplay more
- Open a booth at AFA or some other anime con

Really impromptu Naruto Tribute doodle while being in a groggy and headachey state so please don't mind any odd perspectives and such ww... (TvT) Plus I can never perfectly draw Naruto's hair, be it short or long LOL.........

But I really wanted to do something to congratulate the end of this amazing series that has been running for 15 years (lol I was only like what, 4 years old when Naruto was first launched? XD)

To Kishimoto-sensei: thank you for creating such a wonderful series that has touched the hearts of billions worldwide. Naruto and friends will always stay right here in our hearts ♥

To Naruto and friends: thank you for all the joy, laughter, sadness, etc you've shared with us. Thank you for teaching us the meaning of never giving up, the importance of friendship and trust, the confidence that it's perfectly okay to be different.

I hope your stories will inspire many for generations to come, just like how they've inspired me. (I have yet to find my nindou though XD)

Actually I went to school but I didn't attend class....because I was sick and wearing a mask, my teacher was like it's ok you can go home if you're not feeling well. I took the opportunity and left class pfffttt *shot*

I WANT MY HOLIDAYS BACK >A<

STGCC 2014 Day 1

I attended the Singapore Toys, Games & Comics Convention (6-7 September) today at Marina Bay Sands and this marks my very first visit to the annual event. It's kind of like the Asian version of Comic-Con (it's the event's collaboration partner btw), and here's where East (anime) meets West (DC/Marvel). I've been meaning to go for the past few years but I usually forgot about it. I couldn't afford to forget this year's though. Especially today's. Reason?

SUGITA.

TOMOKAZU.

To be honest I almost gave up on attending the event today cos no one was free to accompany me. I was distraught since I'd woken up early (early as in not my usual waking time which is usually between 9.30-10.30am lol) and there were complications and some of my family members changing their minds about going so I eventually left the house at 1.30pm (special thanks to my uncle who offered to drive us there on the way to his in-laws' house) :'D My family's the type who doesn't allow me to go to many places without someone accompanying me so my mum offered to accompany me...www

Sugita's panel started at 2pm and I arrived at the convention centre right on the dot. By then I was really anxious so I rushed to the ticket counter (leaving my mum behind lol) and luckily the queue was really fast. I paid for two 2-Day tickets and hurried into the convention hall. I had no idea where the stage was held so I followed my sense of hearing. Someone was speaking on a microphone? Check. Fangirls screaming? Check. Someone welcoming Sugita onto stage? CHECK.

And there he was. I'd dropped my ticket the moment I saw him and I didn't even notice it OTL He was decked in a black T-shirt, black shorts, and a black beanie. It's a pity he didn't come in Gintoki cosplay XD When I arrived he had already started doing a live dubbing for one of the Gintama episodes as Gintoki. It was amazing!! *o* After the dubbing session, there was a Q&A session. I'd love to share what was asked and his answers, but unfortunately the sound system wasn't loud enough and the crowd was deafening so I couldn't hear much of what was being said T__T He held his usual poker face the whole way XDD But seriously man Sugitan. is. AMAZING. His presence on stage was....hhhhhhh oh gosh *___*

Well that's all I have to say for Day 1. I'll (hopefully! no promises ;;;;;;) be attending Day 2 so more coming tomorrow, along with photos! ^^

I'm back~ And new project announcements from Rejet _(:з｣∠)_

I'm finally back after my last post in February...wow that was quite a long time ago! XD

Anyway, while I was away, a lot of things happened (well my Tumblr and Twitter are almost always active so I mostly get updates from there www) but seriously, one thing I want to punch really hard is Rejet! (╯°□°）╯︵ ┻━┻

A few weeks back they announced some new projects and at that point of time I was trying to finish up one of my homeworks =__= In the end I got distracted and ended up sleeping for only two hours OTL To make matters worse I had makeup class the next morning, followed by an industry trip in the afternoon, and a Japanese test in the evening >.< I was zombified by the end of the day... _(:з｣∠)_ good thing my uncle decided to fetch me home from school nyahahaha

Anyway, here are the new Rejet projects! I didn't visit their official websites because I'm too lazy and just knowing the seiyuu casts is more than enough for me 8'D *shot*
