My Lucky Friday

While wandering around trying to find our way to the other Kinokuniya branch yesterday, Fuyu-chan and I stumbled upon a cosplay shop in one of the shopping malls. We found lots of Hakuouki stuff too! At first I didn't want to buy this keychain because I'm not a fan of bookmarks whose designs are carved out from rubber. But I was attracted to the Hakuouki symbol keychain and the fact that there was a Souji card, so I bought it in the end. Plus I get 2 free illustrations by Kazuki Yone-sensei! I regret nothing!!

And while I was out, these arrived in the mail! Hurray for patience and endless attempts at saving money! I'll save more money so I can get more of these lovelies. Yum~

And I grabbed the February issue of Dengeki Girl's Style. The new Hakuouki game is on the cover. The freebie is a Brothers Conflict 2013 wall calendar. Pretty nosebleed-triggering illustrations inside- /shot/ I'll touch more about the magazine contents later. I really can't find time to do my usual reviews these days OTL school I hate you... DX

I went to Kinokuniya to grab January's copy of Pash! and, while I was disappointed that the one and only copy of the Hakuouki Reimeiroku anime art book had been taken away, lookie at what I found!!

I don't know what is the exact name for this, so I just called it as it is (refer to post title).

Uta no Prince-sama Winter Book (DGS January 2013)

So when me and my friend rushed to Kinokuniya this morning, the PASH! magazines had not been shipped in yet (I think) but we managed to grab January 2013's issue of DGS (thankfully!)~ I'll go back this Saturday and see if the PASH! magazines have arrived! I'll just scan the free Uta Puri book for now because it's already late night and I want to watch the animes I missed this week (Tonari no Kaibutsu-kun and Kamisama Hajimemashita) [I didn't watch them in the end].

I really love this illustration, it's so pretty!

I couldn't turn on my portable scanner so I had to use my printer-scanner-photocopier to scan these. It was a slow process because of the big resolution, but I prefer how the scans turned out here compared to the ones I scanned using the portable scanner. I'll see if I have time to scan the others along with the December issues of DGS and Otomedia because I HAVE NOT PREPARED MY CHRISTMAS GIFTS YET OTL... (>A<)

So it was worth rushing to Kinokuniya after school this afternoon. Managed to grab the two remaining copies of DGS for my friend and myself, and two copies of the many piles of Pash! for the same reason.

Right...before I start on my stupid 3D Form & Space assignment (we have to make a stupid kinetic mobile that isn't 'stereotypical'....my foot...), I think I'll start posting some stuff I find necessary.

I think from now on for my reviews, I will only scan/take photos of information I find relevant and talk about them in separate posts. I'll try out this method and see if it works. If not, I'll go back to how I used to post previously. This is mainly because blogger's posting methods are really troublesome. I feel like quitting blogger and just continue blogging on my wordpress account, but after thinking about how many posts and info I need to transfer from this blog to my wordpress blog, I think I'll just leave it be.
